Flat tyre? Especially on the rear wheel with hub motor that is difficult. We replace the inner tube on the spot and if necessary install a new tyre.
VanMoof brake pad replacement
Beeping, sanding or a longer brake road? We replace worn brake pads in front and rear with cubes that fit your model and reset the brakes.
Target spokes and wheel
A swing in the wheel or loose spokes? We tighten the spokes, aim the wheel and check the bearings, even with the rear wheel with engine.
Chain and Chain Clock
Is the chain closet rattling or is it running into the spokes? We set off the chain, secure the chain closet well and lubricate everything.
Standard, saddle and mudguard
Loose standard, sinking saddle or rattling mudguard? Small annoyances that we fasten or replace directly at your home.

You book a repair, the mechanic makes what's broken and then runs your entire VanMoof. That's a complete maintenance: brakes, tires, drives and bolts. You pay the visit, the parts come in. Do you only want VanMoof maintenance and nothing is broken? Then you book the same service visit.

Frequently asked questions
Can I just get a flat tire fixed?
Yes. You book a service visit of €45,00 including maintenance; the inner tube will be added for €15,00. The mechanic will replace the tyre at home and immediately check out your VanMoof.
How much does VanMoof cost maintenance at home?
From €45,00, including VAT and standard travel. 3 to 6 km from the Rijksmuseum it is €60,00. Parts are shown separately in the booking form; extra work is only done after agreement.
Which VanMoof models can I book?
You can select S2, X2, S3, X3, S5, A5, S6 for basic maintenance. Which tyres and brake parts fit depends on your model.
Can I arrange tyres and brake pads for my VanMoof maintenance?
Yes, as far as they fit your model. An inner tube costs €15,00 and brake pads €24,00 per side, on top of the maintenance. Select your model and check the available options when booking.
What is covered by the maintenance service?
Basic maintenance and compatible wear parts such as tires and brake pads. Engine, battery, e-shifter, display and motherboard work are excluded from this maintenance service. For electronics, fault diagnosis and brand-specific repairs we refer you to VanMoof or a suitable specialist.
When and how do I pay?
After visiting via the payment page, with iDEAL, card or Apple Pay on a suitable device. You pay nothing when booking.
