1. About us

OnTheRoad is a mobile e-bike repair and maintenance service operated by Tijmen Spaargaren, registered in the Netherlands. KVK: 85755591 · VAT: NL004139947B93. Contact: repairs@ontheroadbikes.com

2. Services

OnTheRoad offers e-bike maintenance at your address in Amsterdam. The booking form shows which bikes and addresses we currently service. Cowboy maintenance does not include motor or electronic fault diagnosis or repairs. Any separately accepted repair work is agreed with you in advance.

3. Booking and payment

  • No upfront payment is required to book a maintenance appointment.
  • Maintenance is paid after the appointment via Tikkie, cash, or the Mollie payment link on your invoice.
  • An invoice is sent by email after the visit, with payment instructions.
  • Payment terms: 14 days from invoice date.

4. Cancellation policy

We appreciate as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Please notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment so we can offer the slot to another customer. To cancel, use your account page or email us.

5. Pricing

All prices shown include VAT. The standard maintenance visit costs €45,00, including travel within the standard service area. There is no separate €20 travel fee on top of that maintenance price. Any surcharge for your address or chosen time slot is shown before you confirm your booking. Parts and additional work are charged separately after your approval. Separately accepted repairs follow the quote agreed with you in advance.

6. Liability

OnTheRoad will carry out all work with care and expertise. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear, or faults that were not caused by our work. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control (weather, traffic, parts availability).

7. Your responsibilities

  • Ensure your bike is accessible at the time of the appointment.
  • Provide accurate information about the issue when booking.
  • Be reachable via WhatsApp on the day of the visit.

8. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance.
