Why mobile in the Jordaan makes the difference
The Jordaan is one of the most difficult neighborhoods to take your bike somewhere: narrow streets around the Elandsgracht and the Westerstraat, lots of one-way traffic and canals everywhere. An e-bike is also hard to lift.
We solve this by coming by ourselves. Our mechanic works from the sidewalk at your house or along the canal - your bike does not have to move a meter.
What we're doing on the ground
On site we do complete maintenances and the usual repairs:
- Adjusting and bleeding brakes
- Replace brake pads and tyres
- Check the drive
- Checking lighting and tyre pressure
- Secure loose parts
On the cobblestones of the Jordaan we wear brakes and tires faster, so we check them extra well.
Service and price
A maintenance service costs €45,00, including VAT and travel within 3 km of the Rijksmuseum. From 3 to 6 km, the visit costs €60,00. Your postcode and address determine whether we can visit; Amsterdam-Noord and addresses more than 6 km away are outside our service area. Parts and brake bleeding are added separately and shown before you confirm. We only do extra work with your agreement. You pay after the visit.

Can the mechanic park in the Jordaan?
We only need a small piece of space to work. If you can't stop at your door, we'll meet a place nearby - that is more common in the Jordaan and is no problem.
My brakes are squeaking through the cobblestones - can you fix that?
Yeah, we adjust or bleed the buzzing or soft brakes on the spot, and we replace worn-out brake pads immediately. That's one of the jobs we do most often.
