Adjusting E-bike brakes in Amsterdam - at home
Soft, squealing or rubbing brakes are annoying and unsafe, especially on a heavier e-bike. We adjust or bleed them at your home so you can brake with confidence again.

When your brakes need attention
Does the brake lever pull back too far, do the brakes squeal, or does the wheel rub? Adjustment or bleeding may be needed. This matters particularly on an e-bike because it is heavier and faster.
We come to you and fix it on site, so you do not have to drop off your bike for work that can often be finished during the appointment.
What we do
We adjust the brakes, bleed hydraulic brakes with the correct oil where needed, check and replace worn brake pads, and inspect the discs for wear and distortion. We then test that the brakes engage firmly and evenly.
Service and price
A maintenance fee is €45,00 , including VAT and travel up to 3 km from the Rijksmuseum. From 3 to 6 km the visit costs €60,00. Your zip code and address determine whether we can get to you; Amsterdam-Noord and addresses beyond 6 km fall outside the working area. Parts, brakes bleeding and any time slot surcharges are added separately and you will see before you confirm. We only do extra work after your agreement. You pay after the visit.
Frequently asked questions
My brakes are beeping - is that bad?+
Beeping often points to contamination, incorrect adjustment or worn-out cubes. Usually it is fixed quickly by adjusting or replacing the cubes. We immediately check if the brake discs are still good.
Can you bleed hydraulic brakes on site?+
Yes, with appropriate hydraulic brakes as extra work next to the maintenance. The price is in the booking form; we only perform it after your agreement.
