Brakes squeaking, a longer stopping distance or a spongy lever? We replace your brake pads at your home in Amsterdam - the right pads for Cowboy, Tenways, VanMoof and the common 28-inch brands (Shimano B05S) are standard stock. Usually within 1-2 days, often same-day.

Usually a spot within 1-2 days, often same-day - book online up to 1 hour ahead. The mechanic arrives with the parts on board, so it is done in one visit and your bike never has to leave the door.
Fixed prices, no surprises
Brake pad replacement is €24 per side, on top of the €45 service visit at your door (maintenance check included). A hydraulic brake bleed (Cowboy C4/Cruiser among others) is €29 per side. Not sure what your bike needs? The mechanic assesses on the spot and you only pay for work actually done.
Which brands
Cowboy (every generation - Tektro and SunRace), the Tenways CGO series, VanMoof (Hayes on S2/X2/S3/X3, Avid Elixir on S5/A5), Veloretti, and the 28-inch brands Gazelle, Cube, Giant, Trek and Kalkhoff (Shimano B05S). The right pads are already on board the mobile workshop.
When to replace
Brake pads wear out every 1,000-1,500 km - faster in Amsterdam stop-and-go traffic. Squeaking, longer stopping distance or a metallic sound means it is time. We check both brakes at every appointment anyway.

How long does a brake pad replacement at home take?+
About 15-20 minutes per side, including adjustment and a test ride.
What if I am not sure it is the pads?+
Pick "not sure" when booking - the mechanic determines on the spot whether it is pads, rotor or a bleed, and you only pay for what is actually done.
