OnTheRoad is a mobile e-bike repair service based in Amsterdam, operated as a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) by Tijmen Spaargaren. KVK: 85755591 · VAT: NL004139947B93.

2. What data we collect
- Name, email address, and phone number (WhatsApp)
- Home address (for on-location visits)
- Bike details (model, year, mileage)
- Booking and payment history
- Photos you upload as part of a repair request
- IP address and basic usage data via server logs
3. Why we collect it
- To book and carry out your repair or maintenance visit
- To send you confirmations and invoices
- To contact you via WhatsApp about your appointment
- To comply with legal obligations (invoicing, tax records)
- To send service reminders, only if you opted in
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of:
- Contract - to deliver the service you booked
- Legal obligation - to keep financial records
- Consent - for marketing communications (you can withdraw at any time)
5. Who we share data with
- Google - calendar integration and optional sign-in
- Meta (WhatsApp) - appointment confirmations
- Resend - transactional emails
- Cloudflare R2 - file storage for uploaded photos
We do not sell your data to third parties.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Financial records (invoices, payments) are kept for 7 years as required by Dutch law. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing for marketing purposes
- Request a copy of your data (data portability)

8. Cookies
We use only functional cookies necessary for the site to work (session authentication). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, you can contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
